Kaffe Fassett- Quilts in Burano

With his unerring eye, Kaffe has succeeded in finding the perfect location for his exquisite new collection of quilts, featuring both his scintillating new fabric designs and his classics, all in his unique color palette. This time he has chosen the medieval English village of Lavenham in Suffolk, where the 19 quilts in this book are set off against the ancient half-timbered Tudor houses. They are displayed in all their glory in a sumptuous eye-catching quilt gallery

Kaffe Fassett Quilts in Burano

This book is very interesting, colorful and provides total layouts of how to construct the quilts shown, photographed in the Italian Island of Burano near Murano Island and Venice. Patterns to copy in scale are provided in the back as well. Also provided are substitute suggestions and how to adapt for smaller quilts. Very informative. Kaffe is a genius colorist/artist- wish I could take a class. His career has been an amazing design journey. This book will not disappoint!
